Plastic Surgery Prices in Colombia by Procedure
Colombia plastic surgery prices in 2026 run from about $1,400 for eyelid surgery to about $12,000 for a full mommy makeover, quoted as all-in surgical packages. Liposuction of one or two areas is roughly $2,000 to $3,500, lipo 360 is $3,500 to $5,500, a full tummy tuck is $3,000 to $6,900, breast augmentation is $2,500 to $5,400, and rhinoplasty is $2,500 to $6,800. Every saving figure below compares those packages against US all-in prices that patients reported actually paying, never against a US surgeon’s fee alone. That single choice is the difference between an honest number and a marketing one.
Quick answer
- Colombian all-in package prices, 2026: liposuction 1 to 2 areas $2,000 to $3,500; lipo 360 $3,500 to $5,500; BBL $3,000 to $7,000; full tummy tuck $3,000 to $6,900; mommy makeover $6,000 to $12,000.
- Face and breast: rhinoplasty $2,500 to $6,800; facelift $4,000 to $9,000; blepharoplasty $1,400 to $4,000; breast augmentation $2,500 to $5,400; breast lift $3,200 to $5,500.
- All US figures here are Tier C, all-in patient-reported averages. A US surgeon-fee-only figure excludes anaesthesia, the operating room, labs and garments, so comparing a Colombian package against it is not like for like.
- Savings against those US all-in averages run from about 8% to about 72% by procedure. At the midpoint of each Colombian range, most land 30% to 50% below the US average.
- No verifiable Colombian price exists for buttock implants, and no verifiable international package price exists for a thigh lift. Both are left blank below rather than guessed.
Which US price are you comparing against?
This is where most Colombia price guides go wrong. Three different numbers get called the US price, and they differ by a factor of two to three.
| Basis | What it covers | Tummy tuck example |
|---|---|---|
| Tier A, surgeon fee only (ASPS 2024) | The surgeon’s professional fee. No anaesthesia, operating room, implants, labs or garments. | $8,000 to $13,500 |
| Tier B, surgeon plus facility (Aesthetic Society 2022) | Adds the operating room. Still excludes anaesthesia, labs and garments. | $7,465 |
| Tier C, all-in patient-reported (RealSelf) | What patients actually paid: surgeon, facility, anaesthesia, pre and post visits. | $8,200 average, $4,500 to $20,000 |
A Colombian medical tourism quote is an all-in surgical package, so it is closest to Tier C. Every US figure in every table below is Tier C. These are approximate 2026 ranges, and most Colombian figures are advertised marketing prices from clinics and agencies rather than audited fee surveys. Peso conversions use 3,203.75 COP to the dollar, the mid-market rate on 22 September 2026.
How much is liposuction and body contouring in Colombia?
| Procedure | Colombia (2026) | US all-in average | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Liposuction, 1 to 2 areas | $2,000 to $3,500 | $6,825 (not area specific) | 49% to 71% |
| Lipo 360 (abdomen, flanks, back) | $3,500 to $5,500 | $6,825 | 19% to 49% |
| VASER or high definition lipo | $4,000 to $6,000 | $6,825 | 12% to 41% |
| BBL (fat transfer) | $3,000 to $7,000 | $9,955 | 30% to 70% |
The US liposuction average is not area specific, so the 49% to 71% figure is the least precise comparison here. Colombians domestically pay about 15.0 million pesos, roughly $4,682. See our liposuction cost guide for Colombia.
BBL deserves a warning. It is the least consistent price in the dataset: individual clinics publish figures from well under $3,000 up to $8,500, while the domestic gluteoplastia average is about 15.5 million pesos, roughly $4,838. Credible sources cluster at $4,500 to $5,500, and quotes below about $3,000 warrant asking what has been removed. A BBL alone at $2,800 to $4,500 and a BBL with lipo 360 at $3,000 to $6,100 are also not the same product, because the liposuction is the fat harvest. Our BBL cost guide covers the spread.
How much is a tummy tuck or mommy makeover in Colombia?
| Procedure | Colombia (2026) | US all-in average | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mini tummy tuck | $2,500 to $4,500 | No Tier C figure available | Not calculated |
| Full tummy tuck | $3,000 to $6,900 | $8,200 | 16% to 63% |
| Extended tummy tuck | About $8,115 (one Bogota clinic) | No Tier C figure available | Not calculated |
| Mommy makeover | $6,000 to $12,000 | $13,100 | 8% to 54% |
Two rows carry no savings figure on purpose. The only US mini tummy tuck range we could trace comes from a Colombian clinic’s own page with an unclear basis, and the only extended tummy tuck comparison is a surgeon-fee-only lower body lift figure, a different tier and a different operation. Colombian abdominoplasty averages 15.9 million pesos domestically, about $4,963.
How much is breast surgery in Colombia?
| Procedure | Colombia (2026) | US all-in average | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Breast augmentation | $2,500 to $5,400 | $6,400 | 16% to 61% |
| Breast lift (mastopexy) | $3,200 to $5,500 | $7,775 | 29% to 59% |
| Breast reduction | $3,200 to $6,900 | $8,200 | 16% to 61% |
Colombian breast augmentation prices include the implants, which is not always true of a US quote. One Bogota clinic lists augmentation at 14.0 million pesos, about $4,370, and a lift with implant at 17.0 million, about $5,306. Browse breast surgery clinics in Colombia.
How much is facial surgery in Colombia?
| Procedure | Colombia (2026) | US all-in average | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rhinoplasty | $2,500 to $6,800 | $8,025 | 15% to 69% |
| Facelift | $4,000 to $9,000 | $12,625 | 29% to 68% |
| Blepharoplasty (eyelids) | $1,400 to $4,000 | $4,950 | 19% to 72% |
Rhinoplasty carries the widest Colombian spread; the domestic average is 11.75 million pesos, about $3,668. See our rhinoplasty cost guide for Colombia for the city by city picture.
Gynecomastia, arm lift, thigh lift and buttock implants
| Procedure | Colombia (2026) | US all-in average | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gynecomastia | $2,500 to $4,900 | $6,050 | 19% to 59% |
| Arm lift (brachioplasty) | $3,000 to $4,900 | $7,775 | 37% to 61% |
| Thigh lift | No package price verified; domestic average about $4,682 | $9,225 | Not calculated |
| Buttock implants | No verifiable Colombian price | $9,800 | Not calculated |
Arm lift pricing splits further: a mini brachioplasty runs about $2,500 to $3,500, an extended version about $3,500 to $5,500. The only Colombian buttock implant figure we found was one clinic’s marketing page quoting $1,750 to $2,500, implausible against a US all-in average of $9,800 and Colombia’s own gluteoplastia average of about $4,838. Without corroboration, we are not publishing it.
What does combining procedures cost?
Less than the sum of the parts, because the dominant costs are shared: one operating room booking, one anaesthesia, one admission, one recovery. There is no credible national figure for how much combining saves, and any site quoting one has invented it. The one defensible piece of arithmetic comes from a single Bogota clinic’s July 2026 price list: abdominoplasty at 17.0 million pesos plus liposuction at 14.0 million is 31.0 million bought separately, and that clinic prices its mommy makeover at exactly 31.0 million, about $9,675, with breast work on top. That is one clinic’s list price, not a rule. A standard Colombian mommy makeover is a tummy tuck plus lipo 360 plus a breast procedure.
Do prices change by city?
Less than you would think. Two independent Colombian datasets agree on Medellin abdominoplasty at 13.5 million pesos, about $4,214, roughly 4% to 10% below Bogota, and the pattern reverses for rhinoplasty. The bigger spread is within one city: Bogota rhinoplasty runs 8.75 million pesos in Usaquen against 15.0 million in Suba, a 71% gap.
What these prices do not include
Everything outside the operating room. Recovery house accommodation runs $60 to $125 per night, compression garments $47 to $125, a ten session lymphatic drainage course $312 to $624, private nursing $156 to $468, labs $8 to $25 per test, medication $16 to $62, and flights are never included. Drainage is not an upsell in Colombia; 10 to 15 sessions are commonly prescribed after liposuction. Built up properly the real trip cost lands roughly 35% to 45% above the headline surgical price, which our guide to what a Colombian surgery package includes works through line by line.
When is a price too low to be safe?
When it falls below the ranges on this page, the money is coming out of the surgeon’s qualification, the anaesthesiologist, or the facility licence. Yulixa Toloza died in Bogota in 2026 after a procedure at an unlicensed facility allegedly performed by a hairstylist with no surgical certification. She paid 3 to 3.5 million pesos, about $940 to $1,090, where the legitimate equivalent was quoted at 10 to 15 million pesos, about $3,100 to $4,700. The fatal price was roughly a quarter to a third of the real one.
Colombian law does not restrict cosmetic surgery to plastic surgeons, so a cheap quote can come from someone entirely legal and entirely unqualified to operate. Confirm the registered specialty yourself in ReTHUS, the Ministry of Health’s national registry, through its Consulta al Ciudadano lookup; it must read Cirugia Plastica, Estetica y Reconstructiva. Then cross-check the SCCP directory at cirugiaplastica.org.co/buscar-cirujano. Our complete cost guide to plastic surgery in Colombia sets out the full verification.
Frequently asked questions
Why are your savings percentages lower than other sites?
Because we compare like for like. Most sites put a Colombian all-in package next to a US surgeon-fee-only figure, which produces savings of 70% to 80%. Against US all-in prices patients actually reported paying, the honest range is about 8% to 72% by procedure, clustering at 30% to 50% at the midpoint.
Are these prices negotiable?
Quotes vary enormously between surgeons in the same city, so comparison matters more than negotiation. Push on inclusions rather than headline price: ask in writing whether the anaesthesiologist, labs, pre-anaesthetic evaluation, compression garment, drainage sessions and surgical complications insurance policy are all inside the number.
Why are some Colombian prices quoted in pesos and others in dollars?
Domestic clinics price in pesos for local patients, while medical tourism packages are quoted in dollars and run higher because they bundle transfers and coordination. Recompute any peso figure at the current rate yourself, because several Colombian sites convert at stale rates that understate the dollar price by about 20%.
How much should I budget in total?
For a lipo 360 or BBL patient staying 12 days, roughly $6,000 to $7,800 before flights: about $4,000 to $5,500 for surgery, about $1,440 for twelve nights of recovery accommodation, and $500 to $900 for garments, massages, medication and labs.
