I had an excellent experience with Dr. Sergio Jaramillo. He performed a multifocal intraocular lens implant surgery on me, and honestly, I wouldn't have entrusted this procedure to any other doctor. From the very first moment, he explained the surgery to me with complete clarity, outlined the realistic expectations, and answered all my questions with a very humane and professional approach. The team at Clínica del Café was wonderful: attentive, warm, and very careful throughout the entire process. I am truly happy with the results of the surgery. Before, I relied on multiple pairs of glasses for near, intermediate, and distance vision, and after the surgery, I've experienced a change that has significantly improved my quality of life. My vision is fantastic, within the parameters that the doctor explained to me from the beginning, and today I feel free from glasses after having worn them since a very young age. I definitely recommend Dr. Sergio Jaramillo for this type of surgery!

Recently, the doctor tested human patience: If you plan to make an appointment, bring coffee, a book, and a good sense of humor (and set aside at least three hours). Update: In response to the rude, all-caps reply I received from "the doctor," the appointment wasn't for me, of course, but for a close friend or patient whom I won't name in this forum. Instead of questioning suggestions, I recommend reviewing your patient intake process, if only out of respect for your time. Thank you! The 1-star rating remains.
