I got the eye surgery around 15 years ago and it was so great!!! the service was incredible... and even today, I still see really well... I really recommend it

I needed a glaucoma exam and called to confirm they were able to help me before making an appointment. I went in October of 2025 for a glaucoma exam. It’s a busy office with a huge waiting area, with a wait well beyond the appointment time. The doctors and staff are friendly but they pushed hard to upsell me a corrective eye surgery—so much that it became their main focus. Since then, I have repeatedly asked for the glaucoma report and although it’s been promised a few times, I have yet to receive it almost a half year later.

I would be very careful when using this provider. I came here for lasik and ended up with a different procedure. The doctors didn’t inform me of the change. I left thinking I got lasik and had extreme pain for days. I wasn’t given proper post opp care and ended up with swollen dry eyes. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic due to the lack of communication of what they’re doing to their patient. The clinic apologized for their lack of care but it doesn’t take away from the pain I had without medication from PRK. If your native language isn’t Spanish I would avoid this clinic!

I would avoid any foreigner to use this place. Their website promote services in english, but no one speak english there which make things a bit difficult. They say you can use Google Traductor with them, but they don't use it. And when Dr. Laverde tried to use it, he seemed irritated and barely explain anything. Regarding the service, it is not really professional. I had a full exam, and they made me read the chart after putting the drops for dilatation, so obviously I couldn't read a thing... It was the first time I had my drops before doing the chart test... When I told the girl it was useless, she kept asking me for the letters... Regarding the place, it is in a great building. But the office is really small and three doctors were doing exams in the same room - I never seen that. Also, the material is quite old compare to what you can find in western countries. Regarding the experience with the profesional, he barely answered my questions. Also, when I asked him basic questions regarding the Vitrectomy, he never mentionned the dangers such as cataract, retina, etc. Overall, bad experience. Plus all in all, it lasted 7 hours.

I came for vacations to Colombia coming from Germany and decided to use the opportunity to get a laser treatment to correct my myopia . The whole process was really professional. The doctor was very experienced. The staff was always very friendly and polite and I was asked regulary if I had any more questions and if the recovery process went well. The actual procedure was done within 15 minutes. The next morning I had another check up, to see if everything went well. After a full day of rest i didnt have any discomfort with my eyes anymore and could see perfectly fine again. I am highly content with the result.
