About Oncólogos del Occidente
Oncologos del Occidente is a cancer-treatment provider serving Colombia’s Coffee Region, with a location in Manizales. It operates as Oncologos del Occidente S.A.S. under the Zentria healthcare group, and directory listings place its principal Manizales site in the San Marcel area (Calle 92 No. 29-75). According to the organization, services include specialized oncology consultations, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, oncologic surgery, hematologic-oncologic hospitalization, an intensive care unit, palliative care and pain management, diagnostic imaging, laboratory and gastroenterology services. The provider is regulated by INVIMA and supervised by Colombia’s Supersalud. Manizales is a mid-sized Andean city, and the network also operates centers in Armenia, Pereira, Cartago and La Dorada. Because oncology care is highly individualized, international patients should contact the center directly to confirm treatment options, coordination, records requirements and language support before travelling. Reviews
Synced from Google. The clinic cannot edit or remove reviews here.Unfortunately, the administrative service is the worst we've ever seen; they need to change the staff and procedures. The doctors, however, are good.
The worst of the worst. I'm giving it one star because I can't give it zero. I hope they get competition soon so they get annoyed and stop doing whatever they want with people. Totally inept.
Terrible service, they never called me for the biopsy. I went in person, signed the receipt, and they never called me back. Haha. I also sent them by mail, and they still never called.
It was an excellent service from all the staff along with the entire group of doctors.
The patient care is appalling, from the receptionist who doesn't provide clear information to the surgery area where they take forever to notify patients about necessary precautions before their procedures. As if it weren't enough that the patient is already going through a difficult physical and emotional situation with the illness, then they have to wait to be seen haphazardly, with all the recommendations and dates thrown at them. If you can, go to another medical center because here you'll die waiting.
