I went there today because I twisted my ankle in a pothole and haven't been able to put any weight on it since. At least 80 people had already gathered in front of the entrance, and once I got through the gate, I saw at least another 50 people sitting inside. Finally reaching the counter, I was told that the treatment would cost at least 2 million pesos, which I had to pay immediately in cash. So, I was supposed to pay over €500 just for a doctor to even look at my foot. There could be additional costs for X-rays, etc. I left in excruciating pain. Absolutely awful hospital; I wouldn't advise any European, or anyone for that matter, to go there.
Here I received an accurate diagnosis after visiting hospitals in Mompox and Magangué, and four clinics in Cartagena, including Caminos IPS, Neurodinamia, and Cemic. It took almost a year to find out what was wrong with me. I don't know why I didn't come sooner! Since then, whenever I need emergency and ICU medical services, my children bring me here. Last year, I was admitted to the ICU five times due to failures at the healthcare providers and pharmacies assigned by my health insurance company, and thank God, I'm alive to tell the tale.
