I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr Afanador three weeks ago. I had a very personalized service throughout the the whole process, Dr. Afanador and her team are very dedicated to the patients and make sure their individualized needs are met. I was drawn to get this procedure done with Dr. Afanador because she is not only a surgeon but also she is an ENT by training. During my initial consult, Dr. Afanador took her time to share her knowledge using friendly language to target my specific needs for this surgery. The results of the surgery have been very satisfactory, pain has been at a minimum, I’d say the most uncomfortable part is having the nose inserts after the procedure because it makes it a little difficult to breathe for a few days, other than that everything else is very tolerable. The post treatment definitely helps decrease the bruises and inflammation. Since I don’t live in Bucaramanga, my process started virtually and I have virtual follow up’s as well which has worked fine. I was also thought to change my last bandages and I use the recording I was given to make sure I do it right every time which is doable. Lastly, Dr. Afanador and team have been consistently open to assist me in anyway possible which is very important to me.
