My experience with Dr. Zamir Paez, his aftercare team, and the other healthcare professionals in his office has been nothing short of stellar. First of all, my results after surgery far exceeded my modest expectations. Dr. Zamir is a true artist, an exceptional surgeon, and I could tell that the vision he had for my results surpassed my imagination. I'm glad I trusted him and his advice. I also need to add the fact that I scoured the internet and in doing so, saw many scars so as to 'prepare myself' for what I could likely expect post-surgery; I have to say, my scars post surgery on my face are so minimal, you can barely even see them and I'm only about 3.5 weeks post-surgery. The scar on my abdomen is healing wonderfully as well. The amount of care for my well-being as I recover in Medellin is notable - my hemoglobin had dropped after surgery and the nurses and doctors were on top of getting it back to normal by doing the necessary blood tests and administering iron IV's as needed. I did my post-surgery massages with an Indiba machine and the nurses who administered the massages were all incredibly kind, but also very focused on the status of my recovery from start to finish. I appreciated the level of detail and care they put into their work, but even more than that, I have to mention how personable they all were with me - I got to know everyone on a first-name basis and vice versa! I could truly go on and on singing their praises...
