I recently had surgery with Dr. Juan Carlos Góngora for both an inguinal and umbilical hernia, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From our very first consultation, Dr. Góngora was incredibly patient and thorough. He took the time to explain every detail of the procedure, ensuring I felt completely comfortable and informed before moving forward. The care provided after the surgery was equally impressive. The follow-up has been excellent, demonstrating a genuine commitment to recovery and long-term health. Additionally, the entire office staff is fantastic—professional, organized, and deeply supportive throughout the whole process. For anyone seeking a skilled surgeon who truly prioritizes patient care, Dr. Góngora is an outstanding choice.

BAD EXPERIENCE! I elected Dr. Carlos based on his reviews and expertise but his staff is HORRIBLE. DR. Góngora gave me a price in his office and then his secretary increased the price right after our appointment. They scheduled me for an appointment without consulting me first and we had to cancel and after we told the doctor about our experience he dismissed it. He even tried to get my wife to cancel her surgery with another surgeon because he wanted to do the surgery on her during my follow up appointment. We WONT BE BACK. He is a good surgeon but poor customer service skills.

They made me feel very secure and taken care of from the very beginning. Once I traveled to Colombia, I was very nervous but they reassured me time after time and they did not fall short at all. The surgery was a complete success and all the doctors involved came to my room and checked up on my room to ensure I was okay and everything was stable. Everything was perfect the communication with the staff and Dr. Góngora was excellent. I am very happy and looking forward to my results.
