I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Farfan and his entire team. Traveling all the way from Antigua to Colombia for surgery is a big decision, but from the very beginning, they made the entire process feel smooth, organized, and completely stress-free. Dr. Farfan is not only incredibly skilled, but also attentive and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave me full confidence going into the procedure. The level of professionalism and care I received exceeded my expectations. A special thank you to Andrea and Diana, who were both amazing throughout this journey. They were always available, responsive, and genuinely supportive, making sure every detail was handled and that I felt comfortable at all times. I also have to highlight Andres, the best physical therapist I could have asked for. His guidance, patience, and expertise played a huge role in my recovery. He pushed me when I needed it and supported me every step of the way. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless. Traveling internationally for surgery can feel overwhelming, but this team made it feel easy and worthwhile. I suffered from groin pain for many years. Dr Farfán ordered X-rays and MRI; he determined the hip needed total replacement. Everything was programmed in few weeks. He is professional, humble, warm, explains well, and the price is right. I have no health insurance in the USA. His staff is efficient and very respectful. The surgery went very well, the doctors were compassionate and knowledgeable. Physical therapy is fundamental. Traveled by plane after 30 days with no complications. At week five of recovery, I am already walking without a cane for short distances. Expect full recovery and no cane at the end of week six. Thank you doctor! I am very pleased with the outcome.

In April 25, I needed endoscopic microdiscectomy to correct herniated discs and alleviate the associated sciatica pain. I sought consultations with several orthopedic surgeons in Panamá, where my family and I reside.
