The appointment system is terrible. Some people arrive and leave after 20 minutes, while others wait two hours and still haven't been seen. And this isn't even referring to those who are supposed to receive priority service, who of course deserve it. There are women in their mid-twenties and thirties who arrive and are immediately dismissed simply because the person assigning the appointments feels like giving them that number. The service is awful.

They take far too long to process billing and schedule you for the operating room four hours early in case a surgery is canceled. Very inconsiderate of the patient's time. The anesthesiologist attended to me quickly and very well. They need to improve their administrative processes.

The head nurses in the medication administration area took into account my mental disability and allowed me to receive the Alirocumab medication without a prescription. This medication must be administered exactly every 15 days. I spoke with the representative from the Sanitas patient association, and he told me that the medication administration kit includes the prescription. Despite this, the Sanofi laboratory insists that the prescription is required, and the billing clerk at the Aurora Oncology Clinic also demanded it.

I went to the clinic yesterday for a non-oncological emergency. I was visiting my parents because I live in Bogotá. I have Colsanitas prepaid health insurance and had never used their services here in Pasto. I went to the clinic and from the moment I entered last night, the security guard's attention was exceptional, the nurses were very friendly, the service was quick, and the doctor was very kind. I had all my tests done and today I feel better with the prescribed treatment.

It does not provide the humane service it claims to offer to all patients. Unfortunately, I have a relative (indigenous) at the clinic; she was referred from an indigenous reserve in Vichada, a considerable distance away, and consequently, she is alone. I have tried several times to contact them, but they do not answer any of the numbers. I can't even speak to social work to find someone who can provide support or assistance to the patient. We all have the right to be treated with dignity, regardless of race or religion.
