Blanco Grupo de Salud is a family-run eye-care practice in Bucaramanga (Santander) that brings optometry, ophthalmology, ocular surgery and an in-house optical shop together in one place, on Calle 36. Its team includes an ophthalmologist and ocular surgeon (Dr. Nicolás Blanco García) and optometrists — among them Oscar Blanco García, who holds a master’s degree in vision sciences and focuses on contact lenses and low vision. Services span comprehensive eye exams, orthokeratology and myopia control, custom and scleral contact lenses, low-vision rehabilitation and pediatric vision care, as well as medical and surgical management of cataracts, glaucoma, pterygium, dry eye and refractive conditions. The optical department supplies prescription lenses, frames and coatings. Bucaramanga is an accessible regional hub in northeastern Colombia for routine and specialized vision care. It's a very calm and professional place. Dr. Oscar is incredibly kind and attentive; he's always on top of every detail of the process. In my case, I'm using the ortho-k treatment, and the experience has been excellent. I've seen a great improvement in my vision, and thanks to the doctor's constant monitoring, I feel safe in my hands. They also have modern and appropriate equipment to provide quality care.
