Wonderful doctors with terribly disorganized staff and processes. Needs oversight and management control improvements. We're midway in the IVF process, and I seriously regret going here

The staff of Novafem used the incorrect embryo and we only found out on Week 22 ultrasound that the baby would be a male and not a female. This is despite the fact that there were ony 2 embryos and the female embryo had healthier tests. They then said that they had no duty to notify me that they used the other embryo. Awful place with no processes or controls and no consideration for the people that put their trust in them. Do not use this service if you want to have confidence in the surrogacy process. They claimed to use the healthiest embryo after the fact. And they claimed that I did not understand the agreement. Interesting that they also claimed that they HAD NO OBLIGATION TO NOTIFY that they chose the embryo that was Male. Resulting in me finding out on week 22 that the baby was a male. I wonder how NO NOTIFICATION of a supposed change in plans that resulted in another embryo being used that was MALE instead of FEMALE squares with NOVAFEM's treatment of its clients.

I had a very disappointing experience with this fertility agency. From the very beginning, I felt a lack of transparency in how the process was handled. What I found especially unfair was the prohibition of having any contact with the intended mother, which left me with a strong sense of dehumanization and lack of empathy. In such a sensitive and deeply personal process, one would expect understanding, support, and humanity. Instead, I encountered rigid and unclear rules that did not prioritize the emotional well-being of those involved. I do not recommend this agency, as I believe they treat such a delicate matter as if it were a cold, impersonal transaction.

Was super nervous about coming in from the US and working with a clinic in another country (and the language barrier). But my coordinator, Laura & Dr. Melvin, could not have been more accommodating!! Laura, especially went above and beyond to explain everything, make sure I was comfortable, and was attentive my every need. Everything from the service to the professional space and staff was top notch. Highly recommend!

Modern and clean clinic. All the staff were really welcoming and warm and our coordinator Laura was so sweet, easygoing yet professional. We got good information and everyone gave us time to ask questions and were accomodating to our needs. We felt safe, which is important in a process like this. Thank you 🩵
