My husband and I chose Alberto’s clinic because of the great reviews, testimonials, and the confidence they gave us in handling my complicated dental case when other dentists did not have a clear solution. The biggest positive was Alberto and his team themselves. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, responsive, and supportive throughout our entire trip. They went above and beyond to help us, not just with dental concerns but with anything we needed while in Cartagena. We truly felt cared for! (A family-friendly feel)! My biggest suggestion is to make sure treatment plans are provided in writing and in the patient’s preferred language before treatment begins. There were several people involved in discussions about my case, and unfortunately what I understood the plan to be was different from what was ultimately done. Better communication and documentation would have prevented this confusion. (To many “chefs” in the kitchen). 🥴 I was also surprised to learn that our Root Canals would be performed at a separate office. I wish this had been disclosed beforehand so I could have researched the facility. I’m a very thorough person. While the treatment itself was completed quickly, I personally felt the office lacked the cleanliness and organization I expected. This clinic is called: EndoCenter – Centro de Endodoncia y Especialidades Dentales I personally do not feel they were very sanitary/ clean. Using the phone while not changing gloves while performing my operation & no turn over cleaning between my husband and I. (This is the only reason I don’t give a 5 Star) They are partners I believe. Alberto’s team just took us upstairs to this the day of the procedure & we did not know in advance. So that was an unpleasant/ uncomfortable surprise for me to know that we would not be in Alberto’s office through out the entire process. I also experienced issues with my braces shortly after placement, including loose wires, discomfort, sores, and wires coming out while eating. I will likely need additional orthodontic adjustments in the U.S. the braces were the only thing that did not turn out great. Everything else turned out just fine/ amazingly! Despite these concerns, Alberto and his staff were genuinely caring, professional, and dedicated to helping their patients. We would still recommend them and appreciate everything they did for us! My feedback is intended to be constructive and help improve an already good patient experience. 🙂 Alberto has our respect & future business. We trust him & his team. We highly recommend. You will be well taken care of, oral health is a priority, full comfort & no pain! Trust the process, you’ll be happy in the end. 🙂🙂🙂
