Fundación Cardiovascular de Colombia (FCV) is a non-profit health institution in the Bucaramanga metropolitan area, with its Instituto Cardiovascular de Colombia located in Floridablanca, Santander. Founded in 1986, it is one of the country’s leading centers for heart and vascular care. The institution reports offering more than 60 medical specialties, including adult and pediatric cardiology, cardiac and vascular surgery, and organ transplantation (heart, kidney, liver, lung and pancreas), alongside neurology, oncology and orthopedics. FCV’s hospitals hold Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation; the Instituto Cardiovascular was, by its account, the first Colombian institution to earn this certification, in 2009. FCV operates a dedicated international-patients service with English-language support for patients traveling from abroad. For high-complexity cardiovascular care, it is among Colombia’s most recognized referral centers. Excellent!! The best service anyone could ask for!! My dad had heart surgery and it's perfect! And today my daughter was born here, February 11, 2022, and both my wife and daughter have been treated like royalty!! Truly, a thousand thanks to all the staff, may God bless you.
It's a disgrace. I was referred by Sanitas for an ultrasound and had to request an appointment, but they NEVER answer. They keep the user on hold with a false number of appointments, and when it's finally appointment number 4, they always disconnect the call after a 2-HOUR WAIT!! This institution is rapidly ruining what little good reputation it had.
