I was in need of a root canal, and went to Dra. Paola to have it done. Nobody likes dental work, especially me, but her soft spoken demeaner gave me peace of mind. Her office is not a fancy modern facility as I expected, but it was comfortable and clean. The office is about a $3 Uber ride from Poblado. Dra. Paola is a talented endodontist and spent 2.5 hours making sure the procedure was perfect. She verified the finished product with x-rays to make sure it was perfect and she followed up afterwards to make sure all was well. A very good experience and I would choose her again without hesitation.

I had an emergency root canal at Paola’s clinic and was 100% satisfied with the service. The clinic was very clean, Paola did an amazing job. I later came back to the clinic for cleaning and fillings and she consistently does a great job. Highly recommended!

Excellent service and really good prices. Paola was very accommodating for my lack of Spanish. I went for a check-up & cleaning and needed a filling. I really liked that she used a mirror to show me the cavity - something a dentist has never done for me before! 100% recommend to expats/travellers. She can also provide an invoice for insurance purposes if you need.

A few weeks ago on a Friday, I felt extreme pain. I called my doctor in the US immediately and they weren't available for the next few weeks. I called every dentist in my area until I finally found availability within what I could afford. They quoted me $3000 ($1700 with insurance) and stated that they couldn't do the procedure until Tuesday. I couldn't bear the pain any longer, and that price was far too high, so I researched and found Dr. Paola. I flew to Colombia the next day, and by Monday morning, she eased the pain. Dr. Paola is a highly experienced dentist who is very attentive to you and is accommodative to your schedule. She does her best to ensure that you don't feel any pain. I have had many dental procedures over the years, and I felt that the quality of service with her was my best experience. I performed a root canal and several fillings and was very comfortable throughout. Typically, in the United States, the dentists have very busy schedules because of high demand. What I find is that they are operating on several patients at a time, and so they lack attentiveness. You rarely get time to speak to your doctor, as they are only focused on operating and need to get to the next patient. Because of this, you are speaking with administration most of the time. When you are with Dr. Paola, you are receiving excellent care, attentiveness, and accommodation to your schedule. She messages you to make sure that you are okay and explains everything. The costs are about one-third of the price that you pay in the United States. I was able to receive affordable care while still getting the benefits of a high-quality private dentist. Even after paying for flights, hotels, and a vacation, I still paid less than what my dentist in the US quoted me while enjoying the beautiful city of Medellin.

Thank you Dr Paola for saving my tooth which was in dire need of a root canal for many years. She made me feel relaxed even if there was a language barrier between us and was super concentrated on her work. She did incredible work and I highly recommend for anyone who needs work done on their teeth. Any future dental works I'll be contacting Dr Paola as my primary dentist.
