Dr. Uribe Mesa and his Assistant Sara offer an amazing service. I don't hesitate a second to fly from Miami to Medellin to be seen by him. I had a hernia operation some years ago with him and had an amazing experience and result. The scar is barely noticeable. He has plastic surgeon hands! My experience was absolutely exceptional. Unlike another surgeon I went to he does not apply a lot of rules and tell you yes or no, he explains things and convinces you why you should make the correct decisions yourself. If you like doctor's that are like a mommy and tell you what you cant do find someone else. Dr. Uribe tells you what you can do and gives you ideas. His manner is not a big clinical operation but rather more like a friendly doctor that happens to be an expert on the subject. Adolpho is a really likeable guy that works for you and around your schedule. The reality is that gastric sleeve surgery has little actual risk. He explained this in depth and made me feel a lot less worried about the process. He is flexible instead of rigid and is not set in his ways or limited by a particular hospital's bureaucracy. His assistant Paola is very good and handled all of the arrangements. Of course my wife has her cell phone and everything was handled directly. Of course your results may vary but for me it was absolutely the best decision I could make.
