One of the worst hospitals in Medellin - disgusting behavior from staff, incompetent and rude. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The New Sacred Heart Clinic represents the worst healthcare and operational disaster I have ever witnessed in Medellín. As a medical center, they leave much to be desired, demonstrating a structural ineffectiveness where negligence has become the norm. During the hospitalization of an elderly relative, I witnessed extremely serious deficiencies: Biosafety risk: They lack basic supplies such as soap in both private and public bathrooms (a direct violation of Resolution 3100 of 2019), exposing patients to cross-infections. Neglect of care: Nursing staff sometimes take more than an hour to answer an emergency call from the patient's room. Illegal conduct at the entrance: The private security detail oversteps its bounds, attempting to illegally and forcibly search caregivers' bags (violating Article 15 of the Constitution) and threatening to block access, instead of facilitating accompaniment to the patient. We are light years away from the excellence and genuine humanism found in institutions that do respect the rules, such as the Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital. I make a sincere appeal to all users who have felt mistreated and poorly cared for: If you have been a victim of this clinic's mediocrity, DO NOT normalize the mistreatment. Laws and regulations are the pact that sustains our society; without them, we are at the mercy of the most inept arbitrariness. DO NOT leave your complaints only in the suggestion boxes or at the clinic's patient services office; they operate under administrative silence and could hide those complaints. Escalate your case by always filing a PQRD (Petition, Complaint, Claim, or Request) directly on the Superintendency of Health's website. It is the only way to legally compel them to respond, to have files opened against them, and to force EPSs (Health Promoting Entities) like SURA to stop sending patients to such incompetent places.

The worst medical experience I've ever had. They showed no empathy for a 7-year-old boy who came in with severe leg pain due to a fracture. We waited over 10 hours just for them to examine him. The only positive thing was that they gave us a referral to transfer him to a proper clinic. Terrible care and complete negligence on the part of the doctors.

My grandmother was referred yesterday from Salud en Casa Medellín to the Sagrado Corazón Clinic, where she hasn't received any of her prescribed medications and is deteriorating rapidly. They say the clinic doesn't provide the medications; the family has to bring them. It's outrageous. Furthermore, the Homegroup ambulance that picked her up mishandled her. They let them beat her leg, and now she has bruises and open wounds. Please give me an urgent solution. She is 95 years old, diabetic, on anticoagulants, hypertensive, and was referred due to critically low potassium levels. At the Sagrado Corazón Clinic, they are letting her deteriorate severely. Who can help me?

The clinic is good. But they shouldn't be so closed-minded. If an elderly woman, 80 to 90 years old, brings her disabled daughter as a companion, and the daughter brings her companion, it's so that the person can go out and shop in the clinic or elsewhere. But they wouldn't let her in. And I asked her to come, so she could look after my mother's suitcases and clothes and be there to let me know what my mother needed, like if I was in the bathroom. But they wouldn't allow it because it was an order. You see many families of four or six at that clinic, comparing them to just one person, not even a family. So, it's a shame, but I didn't like it. I had to leave my suitcase with a stranger and I had to rush off because my mother's orthopedic doctor was calling me soon. And what the nurse told me was a complete lie. She said she would help me undress and dress my mother, and that was a total lie. She also said she would give me a chair, but there wasn't one. My back hurt because I had to undress and dress my mother standing up. I'm a 48-year-old person with mental and physical disabilities. It's so sad. And another thing is, how could they schedule such a terrible appointment time? We had to travel from Belén to that clinic in Buenos Aires at 5:00 AM, and they didn't see us until 9:00 AM. They should schedule appointments at times like 9:30 AM. Thank you.
