AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is the most serious review I have ever written and hopefully will ever have to - This place is DANGEROUS. I urge you to leave if you are there currently. I was involved in a serious road traffic accident with 4 other tourists and a lorry. - one girl was discharged and flew to Paris - in Paris she found out she had a broken vertebrae, brain bleed and broken rib - Another tourist had a complicated neck fracture. We know now that they did not detect 4 crushed ribs and internal bleeding: Also we know now that the suggested surgery was the a riskiest approach. - we had to have an emergency transfer via private air ambulance to Bogotá because the care was such a threat here - 2 tourists with severe neck fractures were left ALONE - no help with drinking, eating on cleaning. They went hungry for 3 days until parents arrived. - the admin team were nice but the Nurses are cruel and unfriendly - no attempt to reassure the group after the accident. I was put under general anaesthetic with no explanation or why or how long for. I was crying throughout and they ignored me. I had a foot injury and could not walk - I did not get crutches for 3 days and had no support to go to the toilet. The most terrifying experience of my life

I had a motorcycle accident. This hospital accepted me and treated me amazingly well, i didnt have to pay a single cent because of insurance, totally hassle free. Although i dont speak spanish at all, the doctors and nurses were willing to speak through translator and were always friendly. God bless
