I traveled from Miami to Bogotá on June 24th for what would become one of the most challenging, but also most important, experiences of my life. After finding Dr. Pachon Instagram and learning about his work, I made the decision to come to Colombia for biopolymer removal from both of my legs. My surgery was on July 1st, and from the very beginning, I felt that I was in good hands. Before surgery, everything was explained to me carefully, including what to expect during the procedure and throughout my recovery. I stayed two nights in the hospital, not because I necessarily needed to, but as an extra precaution so I could be closely monitored and properly cared for. My case also required two skin grafts, so I knew from the beginning that recovery would take time, patience, and a lot of care. I won't say that these past two months have been easy, because they haven't. The recovery was physically and emotionally difficult at times, especially being away from home for so long. She became so much more than just my nurse during this process. She cared for me, spoiled me, listened to me, encouraged me, and was there during some of the hardest moments. At times she felt like my nurse, psychologist, and personal counselor all in one! ❤️ Her patience and kindness meant more to me than she probably realizes. After two months in Bogotá, I can finally look back and say that my recovery has been successful, and I am extremely grateful. Choosing to travel from Miami and trusting Dr. Pachon with my biopolymer removal was a big decision, but I am very happy with the work he did and with the care I received from his entire team. PLEASE READ For about two years, I was searching for the right doctor to remove my biopolymers. I had a consultation in Miami with Dr. Nair which was a total SCAM . Three weeks post op and so thankful for the Doctor and his team. The staff at his office is always quick to respond from the moment I reached out to them to schedule a consultation. All the exams were in the same building as a someone who lives in the states, this made it easy to navigate. I had biopolimers in my buttocks since I was 14 years old (for 21 years) and other Doctors had even told me it was not necessary to remove since my glutes (externally looked well) . Dr. Pachon sat and explained to me what was in the imaging and provided me with information about biopolimers and everything needed pre and post surgery. His is kind and gentle and also confident in his work. Thankfully everything so far has been smooth and I highly recommend him. I also have to mention that the nurse that his office set up to take care of me Nataly is a angel! She is the one that tended to me almost every day after the surgery, answers questions and has made this entire process much more gentler on my soul!
