Please pay closer attention to the nurses and nursing assistants. We have received TERRIBLE treatment from them. The worst: the reaction of a "nurse" upon seeing our brother's (patient's) skin affected by a rash, a symptom of adult-onset Still's disease. It is degrading and outrageous. Our brother, who suffers from clinical depression and Asperger's, was deeply affected by this incident. Please be more selective with your staff. Hire people who respect and understand the concept of human dignity.
It's the worst hospital for emergencies. They won't treat you because they say they're always full, and they don't even provide first aid. All they ever say is, "We're full, go to La Presentación or other hospitals." It's a disgrace of a hospital.
I do not recommend taking your loved one to this hospital. Our experience was very negative: the accommodations and care were terrible. Sadly, my father passed away there. At a critical moment, he vomited, and from what we saw, he did not receive the assistance we expected; we were told that he was "already passing away." Based on this experience, I recommend seeking care in Pereira, Medellín, or Bogotá.
They should install a card lock with a lanyard or some other fastener to open the sliding door that leads patients to the elevator and other floors of the hospital. It's torture having to wait for a staff member to come in or out to gain access, as only they have the card to open that door. A prompt solution is needed, please.
They need a caring and a sensible person in ER that really cares for people. The Nurse Sandra Patricia Jimenez Martinez, denies the attention based only in the temperature, without considering other factors like strong headaches, abdominal pain, fatigue and chills but besides that; she writes on the triage that everything is stable, with soft depressible abdomen, pink and hydrated oral mucosa and no signs of peritoneal irritation, when she never touch or look at the patient. 😡😡😡 Ah I forgot to said that in two cases ER ( I don’t know the nurse in charge then), denied the admission of two people with symptoms of appendicitis but they told them that it was gastritis or gastroenteritis. One of them was hospitalized and operated immediately in another institution for peritonitis and, the other one has to go back at SES with more strong pain and finally was taken, maybe due to her pregnancy, then they discover that she needed a surgery for appendicitis. Please pay more attention to the symptoms and also to the person in charge at ER
