very nice doctors and no long waiting time. i can’t speak spanish but we still managed the conversation really good and they answered very questions i had perfectly. if you have any health problems in santa marta go to this hospital!!!

I advise everyone to avoid this hospital. It's a scam where they first charge around 135,000 pesos, then 1,000,000 pesos, and finally 3,000,000 pesos per day ore more. Despite my insurance company making them two payment offers, the hospital refused and insisted I pay out of pocket. I refused the 3,000,000 pesos and, with suspected dengue fever and a life-threatening situation, was left untreated for an entire day. No medication, no doctor's visits, no food. It was hell. This Hospital ist breaking the law.Now I'm going to another hospital, despite the high risk. Please find another one, especially if you're a foreigner. Otherwise, you'll get ripped off. I've also informed the embassy.

On 31 of Dec. My wife needs medical support and we go to The Perfectbody. We tourist from Poland and were atterado of hart problems. Our dr wasJuan Diego Fernandes Muriel who took care of her with great paciencia y competencia! Now she is 100 % en forma de salud,

I didn't get the service I needed.
They didn't take all the tests they were supposed to take. Instead the doc said they took them, even if in the laboratory report document there were no mention about it.
I have worked in the laboratory and I know the test names etc.
Afterwards, I asked the clarification and I didnt get any reply. This is an irresponsible behaviour from the medical stuff.
I paid full price.

Had a minor knee injury that’s been bothering me for weeks, within two hours I had an initial consultation, an x-ray, and prescribed medication that I need to go and get.

The staff were very friendly, the doctor very helpful. Very limited English, but google translate pulled through. Clean hospital too.

Have nowhere to compare it to in the area but I was able to get two lab tests done and results sent to me within an hour. The lady at the reception kindly helped me when I was worried about my results.

I visited perfect Body Medical Center, and unfortunately had a very poor experience. I had to wait about 2 hours to receive my first rabies shot after coming in for a dig bite. I was instructed to return three days later for the second dose. I tried calling multiple times before coming to confirm they had the vaccine and the wait times but the clinic never picked up the phone.When I came back, I paid and waited another 20 minutes, only to be told they didn’t have the vaccine available. No alternatives or assistance were offered, they simply sent me away.

The facility seems unprepared to handle serious medical needs. They don’t carry critical vaccines, and the staff were indifferent. For minor health issues, you might be okay, but for anything serious, I’d recommend calling ahead or seeking care elsewhere.

As a Canadian, I also met other tourists who struggled because there was no translation support available, and staff don’t speak English. Overall, it felt disorganized and unwelcoming. If you do go, be very mindful of the wait times, language barriers, and lack of follow-up care.
