I am a German who lives in Costa Rica.I went to Colombia for a cataract surgery. Dr.JORGE EMILIO JARAMILLO recommend an intraocular multifocal lense (IOLs) implant for me,with a very poor explanation of the risks.[ this surgery usually takes 15 min.per eye, with a success rate over 95 %].In my case, it took 20 min.for the right eye and 90 min. for the left eye!His brother Dr.Miguel Antonio Jaramillo Noguera had to come to help.The lens in my left eye is dislocated and due to the damage caused to my eye during the surgery can neither be moved into the correct position nor removed.I've been trough hell for the last 8 months. I had two emergencies and had to see a surgeon in our capital city (over 5 hours drive),visit my ophthalmologist more than 6 times, and had to take dozends of different eye drops.I can no longer drive at night,neighter against the sunlight,my vision is blurry,I have eye and headaches,can't pursue my sports.In short, my life is not the same anymore (miserable).
Excellent service and after care! Dr Miguel Jaramillo took the time to explain me the beta method, answered all my questions in plain and good understandable english. He also did not upsell my but explained me that the a cheaper method would perfectly work for me. I am in week 4 of my post care and meet 20/15 vision, less dry eyes already.
I’m from the UK and came here for LASIK surgery a couple of weeks ago. The staff were all fantastic and I’m so happy with my results, I was super nervous however the staff made me feel at ease. Would 100 percent recommend as it’s a fraction of the price of the UK.
Fantastic service from start to finish. I wanted to get laser eye surgery to correct my vision for many years, but the prices in the UK were very high. I went to Oftalmólogos El Tesoro for a consultation and was really impressed by the service of all the staff and especially my doctor. I paid a fraction of what I would have paid in the UK for the surgery, and I could not be happier with the results.
