Neuropser

Neuropser is a neuropsychology-focused center in the Laureles neighborhood of Medellín, Colombia, offering neuropsychological assessment, evaluation and rehabilitation. Went to Neuropser for an adult ADHD neuropsych evaluation, I’m on SURA Clásico Familiar. Normal copays, no issue there: $50.900 for the consult, $33.200 for the evaluation.

Then I asked to do it in English and they hit me with an extra $400.000. Not a typo. More than ten times the cost of the actual evaluation, just to do it in a different language. A certified sworn translation of a real document costs less than this “surcharge” for someone talking to me for an hour.

Honestly it doesn’t feel like a language fee, it feels like a number they picked because they figured a bilingual client wouldn’t push back. Kind of scammy dressed up as policy. If you’re with SURA and need this in English, get the price in writing before you agree to anything, because this is nowhere near proportional.

Excellent service at the clinic. All the staff were very friendly and efficient from the very first moment. The doctors were very willing to explain every detail patiently and clearly, which gave us a lot of confidence. Our son felt very comfortable throughout the visit, and at no point did we feel uncomfortable taking him there. We are very grateful for the kind and professional treatment we received. I can only say positive things about my experience with Neuropser. From the reception team to every staff member I interacted with, the level of care and professionalism was outstanding.

Dr. Natalia provided excellent support in the reading and interpretation of all the tests—covering attention, memory, language, executive function, praxis, and gnosis. Her professionalism and kindness were truly exceptional.

Dr. Maria Paula was also a great support in facilitating communication in English with my son, whose first language is English. This made the process much smoother and more comfortable for him.

Overall, the entire staff was very helpful and supportive. I am very glad that my son completed these evaluations, as I have gained valuable insights into his cognitive, behavioral, and psychological development at 11 years old.
