Femisalud

Femisalud is a Medellin-based women’s health organization focused on sexual and reproductive health. According to its official site, it operates in the Torre Fundadores of Clinica Medellin del Centro, in the city’s downtown (Centro) area, and works by appointment. Femisalud offers a broad menu of diagnostic ultrasound (ecografia) studies, including obstetric scans (transabdominal and transvaginal), pelvic and abdominal imaging, vascular Doppler studies, musculoskeletal ultrasounds, and organ-specific scans of the thyroid, breast and testicles. I was given a full abdominal ultrasound for 11:30 am (for which I had to drink four glasses of water 30 minutes beforehand), and I was seen at 12:40 pm. There was only one radiologist.

Completely trustworthy, fast, and very professional. Special mention goes to Dr. Henry, who has incredible sensitivity and touch. I definitely recommend putting yourself in his hands!
