I was super excited about my treatment here and I wanted to do literally SIX TREATMENTS and told the clinic I’m here only for a short amount of time. I spent hours asking them questions about their treatment.
I was told by ALEJANDRA to wait to get on the schedule - I waited several days. Then they messaged me and ask me if I can do an appointment the following day - I told them give me an hour and I would respond because I was working and needed to move other commitments around - then they told me they gave my appointment to another patient and wished me a good afternoon less than one hour later.
This is terrible customer service. You don’t make a patient wait days and then revoke an appointment offer without telling them when it expires. That’s not what a top tier practice does. I can show screenshots upon request.
AVOID. They care more about short term money than customer service. Ironically they’d have made more money by not treating me this way because I wanted SIX TREATMENTS including the most expensive treatments they offer !
The customer comes first. All they had to do was tell me I have a specific amount of time to respond and I would have respected that but apparently basic communication is difficult for them.
I will happily delete this review if they correct their error. I have no malicious intent but it is completely unprofessional conduct and this is coming from someone who never leaves reviews.

I almost never write online reviews, but on this occasion I felt it was important to share my experience.
A few weeks ago I noticed a small spot developing on my face that had started to change in colour and texture. Given that someone close to me recently passed away from skin cancer, I didn’t want to take any risks and decided to have it checked properly by a specialist dermatologist.
I visited MIA Dermatología in Medellín and was seen by Dr. María Isabel Arredondo.
From the moment I arrived the consultation was calm, professional and very thorough. Dr. Arredondo carefully examined the lesion and explained what it could potentially be and how it should be treated. Everything about the consultation and treatment process was explained clearly, which immediately gave me confidence in proceeding.
The treatment was performed during the visit and the results have been excellent.
I’ve attached a before and after photo so people can see the outcome themselves. The first photo shows the lesion before treatment when it had become inflamed and concerning. The second photo shows the area a few weeks after treatment and how well the skin has healed.
Given my personal experience with skin cancer in my family, I can’t stress enough how important it is to have suspicious spots examined early by a qualified dermatologist.
For anyone in Medellín looking for a professional and experienced dermatology clinic, I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending MIA Dermatología and Dr. María Isabel Arredondo.

I was told to come in for a quick consultation. Not only was it nearly an hour late but after the consultation, which didn't tell me anything new, I was told there is a charge and what it would be. I refused to pay a surprise fee. Bad business. Go to a clinic that tells you what they are charging up front.

I had a great experience at MIA Dermatology, where I had a botox and fillers treatment.
Dr Maria was extremely professional, explaining the products, benefits, downsides and giving me all the details I could possibly need, especially because this was my first time getting this type of treatment.
I was very impressed that she offered to do the treatment Friday after her work hours, in order to allow me to have my photo session I scheduled in the morning.
Dr Maria was very kind and attentive during the treatment, checking on me and ensuring the process was as painless as possible.
The after care instructions were very detailed, she explained them, gave me the cream to apply and also provided the same details on paper and email. She also gave me the labels, number of units and expiration dates for the products she used.
Next day I received a message checking on how I was and if I needed any kind of assistance.
Five star service, I'll definitely recommend Dr Maria Arredondo and I'll come back for my next treatments.

Excellent service at this dermatologist in Medellin. I had a rather advanced retreating hairline but after a treatment with MIA Dermatología I am now back with the hair I used to have. Very professional service, highly recommended.
