My review and opinion: I had septorhinoplasty surgery in January 2026, and today, July 2026, I feel satisfied and happy.
My follow-up from day one was easy. At the first appointment, I received photos, a quote, and within a few days, a projection of the possible result. I received ongoing support, and after the surgery, I attended several follow-up appointments where they answered all my questions. As with any surgery, the aftercare is a little uncomfortable, and you need patience and consistency. I am very grateful to everyone, from the reception staff and the anesthesiologist to the assistants and other support personnel, and especially to Dr. Edwin, an ENT specialist—a 10/10 professional. My experience with Dr. Edwin Vélez has been extraordinary, and the result has exceeded my expectations.

I underwent a complex surgery that included functional reconstruction of the nasal septum using rib cartilage grafting, turbinoplasty, rhinoplasty to correct the nasal tip, and other complementary facial procedures. From the first consultation, Dr. Vélez clearly explained the objectives of the procedure and presented realistic expectations for the outcome with complete honesty.

The surgery lasted approximately six and a half hours and proceeded without incident. What impressed me most was the quality of the result and the postoperative recovery. The swelling was moderate, there was practically no bruising, and the recovery has been much better than I expected for a procedure of this magnitude. Three weeks after the surgery, I was able to take an international flight with medical clearance and without any problems.

The result is exactly what I was looking for: a significant functional improvement along with a natural, balanced, and harmonious appearance with the rest of my face. At no point does it give the impression of an artificial or excessively modified nose, something that was essential for me.

I also want to highlight the impeccable surgical planning and follow-up. In such a complex procedure, experience, technical precision, and attention to detail make a significant difference, and this is clearly reflected in both the outcome and the recovery.

In terms of communication, ease of access, coordination, knowledge, friendliness and results, I would dare to say that he’s the best Ear, Nose and Throat (otorrinolaringologo) and plastic surgery doctor there is in the city and probably the whole country.
