This has been an extremely disappointing experience. My elderly father has been at this clinic for over a month, and we, his visiting children, have alternated visits for roughly the past three weeks. He has been at this clinic numerous times in the past and we haven’t had serious concerns. Sadly, service and patient care have fallen off a cliff. In the past week, I’ve had to remind workers that visitors don’t work for them and that patient care should not be random; there should be scheduled rounds to ensure patient safety, comfort and care. I’ve had to call their attention to lack of re-positioning to avoid back ulcers due to his immobility. This is protocol they have displayed on the wall in tje room and claim to follow. Today, I had to ask them to please come and re-position him, as it hadn't been done for hours. His diaper hadn’t been changed for just as long, I’m sure, and was saturated with urine and fecal matter which consequently had leaked onto a support pillow and his gown. This is not only disgusting, it is extremely dangerous and unsanitary and could lead a serious bacterial infection. Completely unacceptable.
