I had an urgent issue with my heart, so I went to this clinic as it was recommended by my prepaid healthcare provider. They assisted me quickly— the only delay was at the beginning when I provided my ID and waited to be sent to triage. That took about 20 minutes.

Once I was in triage, the nurse who attended to me was incredibly kind and compassionate. They even joked with me a bit about my condition, which helped me relax and take my pain a little less seriously.

From there, the doctors came directly to see me in the triage room. They respectfully and carefully helped me change into a gown and guided me to the treatment room, where I was assisted by the doctors and several others. They explained everything in clear, simple terms and treated me with great respect. The care was quick and efficient.

I’ve been living in Medellín for a few years now, and I’ve always hated going to the emergency room because I’ve found that doctors and nurses are usually unpleasant. However, this experience was completely different. I don’t know how much they pay or how they train the staff here, but whatever it is, I hope they keep it up. This was the first time I’ve had a genuinely positive experience in an emergency room in Medellín.

I highly recommend this clinic. Honestly, 10/10— I’d almost consider getting sick again just to go back!

Note: This clinic specializes in heart issues, so I can’t say for sure if they’re as efficient with other kinds of problems. From what I observed, most of the patients there were also dealing with heart-related conditions. However, I did see a few people with other health concerns, and they appeared to go through a process similar to mine. I can’t speak to what happened after they left the triage room, though.

I paid for the "executive cardiovascular program" and had the dates scheduled as Monday, January 30th at 7am and the 31st. and all of their tests showed me to be fine (including the ultrasound). I even asked the person doing the exam (male doctor) how everything looked because I had random abdominal pain. I was admitted to a USA hospital on 2/24 (less than a month later) for severe upper chest/abdominal pain. The HIDA scan showed an inflamed gal bladder and i had the organ removed immediately (cause -gallstones). My blood work also showed issues. My surgeon let me know that I had been living with this inflammation for quite a long time. When i reached out to cardio clinical on 3/17 to ask what happened or what could have been done differently to detect such a common issue, they "shockingly" didnt respond. The CD with my results that was issued to me does not work and is empty.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Spent a few days here after I had an issue with my heart. I was very happy with the high level of medical services I received while in their care. The place is modern, clean and up to date. The doctors and nurses were very professional and competent. If you need a coranary hospital in Medellín, this is the place.
